Before you start a business, you need to take the time to understand exactly what you want to do. You may never become an accountant, a lawyer, a branding specialist, or a tech guru, but you do need to understand the basics of each of these tasks and how it relates to you as a business owner, your business, your niche, and your industry. Take the time to familiarize yourself with your business environment and potential customers.
Read business books. Start with these:
Join a mastermind of other entrepreneurs. Find one with members mostly at your level for support. Join another with members a few steps ahead of you for advice.
Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences (online and in-person) to gain education about your business and your industry.
Find a mentor. Hire a coach and/or business advisor.
